— PIG RACES —
Nindigully Pub’s famous Pig Races are held annually and HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR THE RFDS.
Publican of the Nindigully Pub, Steve Burns, and his late wife Debbie have forged a huge reputation for the commitment to providing ongoing support and donations to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
These contributions wouldn’t be possible without the help of Nindigully patrons and campers who stay at the pub each year.
The day features live musical performances from some of our favourite artists, raffles, auctions, market stalls, jumping castle, fireworks and of course the pig races.
We also collect and count all the cash donations from the pub ceiling that visitors throw up with thumb tacks throughout the year. It’s never too late or too early to have a try at getting it to stick first go!

Sounds like fun? Join us folks! Be sure to come early and check out the free live music on Friday night and snag yourself a spot in the free camping area along the Moonie River in front of the Pub.
Last year we smashed our goal and raised over $107K for the Royal Flying Doctor service! Let’s raise that bar this year and have a great time while we do it!
Adult tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the gate from 10am Saturday 30th November. For kids under 15, entry is free.

The legendary, multiple ARIA Award winning KASEY CHAMBERS performed at our slice of paradise 1st of July 2023.
Joined by two of our favourites Bill Chambers and Andersonlane, this was an epic night at the pub and we look forward to Kasey and her team coming back to visit us soon!

The final tally is in and we could not be prouder. The RFDS holds such an important and special place in the hearts of so many rural Australians and will always be cherished by the Nindigully family.
We want to say a massive thank you to the RFDS for supporting this event, our race day sponsors, to the Variety team, the epic team of musicians , Dogga and his crew for keeping the masses fed, everyone who helped out on Pig Race day to keep it running smoothly, friends and family who come from afar to help make this day possible, and to you all … the amazing crowd who come out each year, giving so generously and making this amazing event what it is!!! You’re all bloody legends!
